Dana White just went there.
The UFC president compared Logan Paul to Kim Kardashian while expressing his disapproval of the YouTuber’s exhibition fight with Floyd Mayweather on Sunday.
“That wasn’t a f–king boxing match!,” White told UFC Arabia, laughing.
“Think about this — imagine if Kim Kardashian wanted to fight [UFC star] Amanda Nunes. How big do you think that fight would be? It would be huge. It would be the biggest, but give me a f–king break.”
White went on adm it that while “there’s always going to be a market” for fights similar to Paul’s, he said that model is “so far away” from what the UFC does.
“You at least get two, three, or four good fights [on a card] that you probably didn’t expect, and then when you turn the TV off you’re glad you watched it — that’s the product I sell. That’s what I’m into,” White said. “I’m not trying to s–t on these other guys.”
The UFC patriarch has been vocal about his criticism of the Paul brothers and the fight scene they continue to promote, especially Logan’s younger brother Jake.
Ahead of Jake’s fight with former MMA champion Ben Askren in April, White publicly predicted that Jake would lose to Askren.
Though, the Triller pay-per-view bout ended in Jake delivering a first-round knockout over Askren, which put him at 3-0 in his professional boxing career.
Following his victory over Askren, Jake took aim at White and called him a “real douche” on Twitter. He also accused White of not properly paying his UFC fighters.
