Saquon Barkley refuses to set a timetable for his full recovery.

“I’m taking one day at a time,” he said over and over and over.

Asked if he was cutting or jumping, he smiled and said: “I’m doing well. I’m doing pretty well, just taking one day at a time.”

Barkley is nearly n ine months removed from the devastating torn ACL he suffered Week 2 in Chicago.

He longs for the day when he can rejoin his teammates – and be Saquon Barkley again.

“I’ve been peeking out the window,” he said, and smiled.

The Giants are keeping their fingers crossed that he can return to his Offensive Rookie of the Year form so they can reward him with a Giant For Life contract.

“It’s a special to be [here]. But when it comes to the contract issues, that’s not even something that even crosses my mind.”
